Welcome to The Heart Of Rescue.

We are a foster-based, 501(c)3 non-profit rescue located in Eugene and Portland, Oregon, plus Los Angeles, California. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home at-risk animals, primarily from the West Coast. We specialize in Rottweiler’s, but also welcome dogs of every breed and size. Plus the occasional cat.

Our dogs are mainly rescued from high-kill shelters in California, Oregon, and Washington. We are often their last hope. We also accept some owner-surrenders. The Heart of Rescue relies on adopters in Oregon, Washington, and California to provide our babies with loving, “furever” homes.
